Matt showed up when he said he would and ran a UV dye test which showed leaks in the coil and compressor and later, a test of the lines which he said showed a leak in one of them, as well. Matt sent us a proposal on Friday 7/23 for replacing the coil and compressor and said he would send a proposal for replacing the lines and he would start the work early the following week. By Friday of the following week when Matt kept telling us he was waiting to receive the refrigerant lines but had not sent us the proposal for that work and then not contacted us or returned calls in 2 days, we decided to go with another company. Matt then tried to say we had a binding contract and billed us $1248 for the line test. After some back and forth he did reduce that amount to $850 which I paid. I am just glad we had not paid any money up front for replacing the AC. And that we found someone else to do the work promptly and professionally. He came out to troubleshoot my nest thermostat and furnace. My Furnace needed a new part and he called around to supply houses to see if the part was in stock so he could get our heat back on. He found one that had it in stock but was closing in a few minutes. He offered to see if the supply house could wait until he got there or pick it up first thing Monday morning and install it early afternoon. We opted to just wait until Monday. It’s monday and our heat is back on!! Hands down the best experience I’ve have ever received from a HVAC company!!!
